Walsall Game Rearranged

The Royals were supposed to be in action against Walsall this Saturday but three international call-ups put paid to that.

However, the postponed game has now been rearranged. Reading will now face the Sadlers at the Madejski Stadium on Tuesday 21st October. Kick off will be at 8pm. The game is to be played just three days after our home match with Preston.

Reading's next league game is against West Ham on Saturday 13th September.

International call-ups for Omar Daley, Adie Williams and Steve Sidwell led to the game being called off. All three should feature for their respective nations. Williams, the club captain, could start for Wales against Italy in their vital Euro 2004 Qualifying tie.

Ginger-haired former Arsenal midfielder Sidwell meanwhile is expected to play for England under 21s against Macedonia, whilst Omar Daley will be in action at the Madejski Stadium, as the Royals home ground plays host to Australia V Jamaica.
