Reading tomorrow (Saturday) play Ryman league side Whyteleafe at their ground Church Road.

It will be striker Bas Savage's first game since coming on to make his Football League debut against Brentford in the dying moments of our promotion clinching game at Griffin Park last season. The big frontman has suffered with knee ligament problems over the summer.

Meanwhile, Ricky Newman will play his second game in four days as he continues in his recovery from a knee injury which forced him to miss the whole of last season.

Tickets will cost £6 for adults and £3 for OAPS and children.

For those wishing to attend get off at Junction 6 of the M25 and take the A22 towards Croydon. At the second roundabout turn left onto the Whyteleafe Hill before turning left into Church Road. The ground can be found on the left hand side.

The line-up for the match has been announced in advance. The team to start the game will be:- Jamie Ashdown, Ricky Newman, Adie Williams, Alex Stanley, Nicky Shorey, James Harper, Joe Gamble, Martin Butler, Andy Hughes, Bas Savage, John Salako.

The subs bench will be made up of academy players.
