Royals lack FA Cup respect

He has his job to, primarily keeping Reading in the Premier League but I do wish he'd give the cup more serious consideration. Coppell will make upto 9 changes for the trip to Spurs.

The comments though by Dave Kitson are appalling in my view.

"We are not going to win the FA Cup," he says. "And I do not care less about it, to be honest, I care about staying in the Premier League, as does everybody at this club. Our league status is not protected by winning the FA Cup - simple as that."

"We have just come off the back of some fixtures that have been tightly packed together and we have played almost two full games with 10 men, I am absolutely shattered and so is Kevin Doyle and a lot of the other players are as well."

Well boo bloody hoo. You have the chance to play in a competition revered by millions of football fans worldwide and you'd rather have a rest.

I appreciate the need for Premier League survival but the lack of respect to one of the greatest competitions in the world is a real kick in the teeth. Maybe next time you'd be better off keeping your mouth shut.
