"We've had one telephone call asking about the situation with Steve Sidwell," said Coppell.
"It was from a Premiership club but there's nothing in it at this moment in time. It was just an enquiry.
"I make at least three calls of a similar nature every morning of the week to find out about players but it doesn't mean I'm going to sign them.
"It doesn't surprise me that clubs are looking at Steve and if something happens it happens. But so far it hasn't and as far as I'm concerned Steve is our player."
