Noel Hunt is set for a spell on the sidelines as he undergoes a knee operation.

The Irish striker has scored just twice this seasonand has not featured for a couple of weeks.

A club statement said: "Noel has been troubled by a knee problem for some time and this operation will see him back to full fitness.

"We will monitor his progress and we will have a clearer indication of his progress and recuperation in a few weeks' time."
