England U21 Squad Announced

Vassell, who went on to play for England at the World Cup, in action against Holland at the Madejski Stadium
England u21 take on Macedonia u21 at the Madejski Stadium on Tuesday 15th October.

Boss David Platt has announced his squad for the clash, it includes stars such as Chris Kirkland, Titus Bramble, Joe Cole, Michael Carrick, Matthew Piper and Jermain Defoe.

Bolton's Kevin Noaln returns to the squad after missing last month's clash with Yuogslavia. Poor ticket sales at the Reebok Stadium, just 5,000, were put down to his absense.

The under 21s have been in action at the Madejski Stadium twice before, a 5-0 win against Luxembourg in October 1999 preceded a fabulos 4-0 win over Holland in August 2001.
