Arsenal vs Reading - WSL: TV channel, live stream, team news & prediction

Arsenal can extend their lead at the WSL summit to five points when they take on Reading at Borehamwood on Wednesday evening.

Gunners boss Jonas Eidevall was full of pancake day references during Tuesday's pre-match press conference and, having already beaten the Royals 4-0 in this season's reverse fixture, will be hopeful of another battering on Wednesday.

Prior to being comfortably defeated by Brighton in their last league outing, Reading had been in a rich vein of form, recording five straight WSL victories. They have previous when it comes to upsetting the WSL's elite this season, beating Chelsea 1-0 at the turn of the year.

Here's everything you need to know about the fixture.

Brooke Chaplen remains a long-term absentee for Reading, having been ruled out for an indefinite period of time with a bone tumour on her leg.

Kelly Chambers may freshen things up for the Royals after they were taken to extra time in their FA Cup defeat to West Ham on Sunday.

Arsenal vs Reading score prediction

Reading have been maddeningly unpredictable this season - they can beat champions Chelsea one week, and lose 4-1 to Brighton the next.

Arsenal will be favourites going into this one, and will also benefit from having been able to rest players - or withdraw them after the hour - against Liverpool on Sunday. It won't be as straightforward a victory as it was at the beginning of the season, but the Gunners will still take all three points.

Prediction: Arsenal 2-0 Reading
