Ascot is the world's most famous racecourse, with a unique and special atmosphere that welcomes everyone. There are 25 days of the finest horseracing throughout the year, including 14 weekend racedays. From some of the most exciting sporting action anywhere in the world to fantastic free attractions and entertainment, you can't better a day at Ascot with family, friends or colleagues.

The very best flat racing takes place at Ascot between May and October, with the main highlight undoubtedly being the internationally renowned Royal Ascot meeting in June. In 2002 the meeting took place over five days for one year only to celebrate Her Majesty The Queen's Golden Jubilee.

Other feature events during the summer months include the prestigious Diamond Day in July, the thrilling Blue Square Shergar Cup in August and the spectacular BETDAQ Festival of Racing in September.

From November through until April you can experience the thrill of jump racing at its very best at one of the nine top class National Hunt meetings. Ascot is home to some of the most prestigious prizes in the National Hunt calendar, including the First National Gold Cup, Ladbroke Hurdle, Victor Chandler Chase, Ascot Chase and Weatherbys Hurdle.

For most racedays there is a 10% discount for all advance bookings – or a 25% discount for groups of 12 or more. With free admission to accompanied children aged 16 and under and free parking at most meetings, a day out at Ascot is unbeatable value.
