Watson: Spirit Is There

The current Reading side can go 'a long way' because of the fantastic team spirit and ability in the squad according to Kevin Watson.

The 27-year-old believes that the Royals side have the same kind of spirit within their ranks that saw Rotherham achieve two successive promotions.

The Madejski Stadium side show know signs of letting up as they steamroller towards a Play-Off place. The Royals currently occupy seventh place but have a game in hand over all their major rivals.

Watson told Reading World that he is confident that the excellent team spirit can make the difference.

"Team spirit is a major factor. I think it was more than half the reason why we did so well at Rotherham, and I balieve we've got that here. Combine that with the quality of players that we've got I think we can go a long way."

The Royals could rise up the table to as high as fifth if they win on Saturday. Reading are at home to Watford, are side they are poised just two points behind.
