Victory is a must to keep automatic alive

Aything less than three points for Reading tonight and it's the play offs.

A victory will set up a match with Birmingham on Sunday that Reading would have to win and hope that Sheff Utd only draw at Selhurst Park to see a Royal promotion.

Birmingham could have clinched promotion last Saturday but blew it at home to Preston.

At the other end of the table Norwich are three points adrift of safety. Defeat for the Canaries tonight will leave them with a dramatic last day where they will need to win and Barnsley lose. Staying up is in their hands if they win their two remaining games (they have a better goal difference than Barnsley). Of course if they do that then it will mean Reading will only be jockeying for a play off position on Sunday.

It's very exciting. Or should that read nervy.
