Still no win but at least we scored

You have to go back to January to find a home win for Reading in the Championship. A depressing statistic.

Just four games into Brendan Rodgers' first season and Reading are on 2 points courtesy of two 0 - 0 draws. They are the highlight of the league season so far.

Yesterday saw a home defeat against Sheff Utd after Matt Mills had given Reading the lead.

Just before the break Sheff Utd scored agianst the run of play. Quinn tapping in Ched Evans' cross.

The the tide turned, Jamie Ward's long range effort squirmed past Federici before Dave Cotterill smacked home the third in injury time.

Disappointment for the home fans.

Maybe there will be some cheer on Tuesday night when Barnsley visit in the Carling Cup. After the 5 - 1 win over Burton the cup has been the only thing to smile about this season so far.
