Steve Coppell has suggested to Sam Sodje that he should finad another club.

Sodje told the Reading Evening Echo: "We are in the Championship now and I have a lot of experience and I hope I get a chance because it hurts when I know the fans haven't seen me play properly.

"If they saw me now they would see I really want it. I just really wish I will get the chance.

"Every player wants to play in the Premier League. I knew last year I should have played, but I didn't.

"I'm back now and I will say to the gaffer he is making a big mistake. I will prove to him he's wrong if he lets me go.

"I want to play football and if he wants to let me go, then he is making a very big mistake.

"Every time I speak to him I tell him that, but he replied that everyone has their opinion. I see no reason why I can't get in this team and it is disappointing.

"He hasn't said I'm not part of his plans, but you'd be a fool to not know what's going on. I am working hard and I seriously cannot believe I am here and not playing - it's a joke.

"The fans are missing out, it's a real joke. I will continue to work hard and Steve Coppell knows I will.

"I think his opinion is wrong, I will tell him that to his face. He is a very good manager, but he has got this wrong."
