Reading drew a 0-0 at Rotherham on Saturday in a entertaining game that should have been filled with goals aplenty.

Rotherham boss Ronnie Moore's opposite number, Alan Pardew, after the game stated that he believed his side had the better chances.

However, Moore, who led Rotherham to successive promotions in 1999-2000 and 2000-01, believed that it should have been his side that won the game.

Following the match Ronnie Moore told the Miller's Official Site: "I thought we had the better chances in the game against Reading on Saturday, I saw it as a missed opportunity, how it ended goalless, I just don't know.

"Conceding no goals pleased me but we had enough chances to win the game 8-3.

"Reading are a good side but every side you come up against in this division is. They had one or two decent chances. Kevin Watson could have been a hero for them when Mike Pollitt spilled it, how Watson missed it I don't know.

"The Royals have a well organised side and seemed to be at their best when their 'keeper had the ball. The number of times Hahnemann threw the ball out to launch an attack was unbelievable.

"There was disappointment that we didn't score a goal but we didn't stick the knife in when we should have done. I consider that game to be two points lost rather than one won.

"Kevin Watson will be gutted that he didn't score but he did what we all know he can do and it's nice to see him enjoying his football."
