The Royals international contingent could grow by two in a couple of weeks time when Wales take on Scotland at the Millennium Stadium.

'Muzza' and 'Murts' (Graeme Murty & Scott Murray, if you please) are expected to be named in Berti Vogts' squad for the first time when it is formally announced next week.

M & M, who wooed the former Germany boss with impressive performances for the Scotland Future XI in December, could make their international debuts at the Millennium Stadium on Wednesday 18th February.

On what could be a special night in Cardiff, at the other end of the field there might be an all to familiar face - that of Adie Williams. The Reading skipper has once more been named in Mark Hughes' Wales squad and may find himself facing up to his club mates.

Vogts, who has former Reading boss Tommy Burns as his assistant, is experimenting with his options ahead of the opening round of World Cup qualifiers in September.

Commenting on the revelation, Murty, who is having a typically solid season at right-back, admitted that the news has come as something of a surprise, despite his impressive display in front of Vogts in December's game with Turkey.

"This has blown my mind," proclaimed a delighted Murts to the official site.

"We (me and Murray) hoped to be in, Berti Vogts has seemed pleased, but you never know for sure. Now we can measure ourselves against some very good players."

M & M will hear officially next week if they are in the squad. If they are it will bring Reading's tally of current full internationals to an impressive six.
