Last updated : 25 September 2007 By Angus Muller

Winger Jermaine Pennant and midfielder Javier Mascherano picked up injuries during Saturday's 0-0 draw with Birmingham and will not be involved.

But new French goalkeeper Charles Itandje and £5million Brazilian midfielder Lucas Leiva could also start the match.

Reading boss Steve Coppell has vowed to make up to eight changes.

Striker Leroy Lita is set to start but Kalifa Cisse is likely to be on the bench at best because of a knee injury. Youngster James Henry is also in the squad but Ibrahima Sonko (knee) is not yet ready for a comeback.

Bobby Convey, Ulises de la Cruz, Scott Golbourne, Shane Long, Andre Bikey, Emerse Fae and goalkeeper Adam Federici are all in line to begin the game.
