Last updated : 18 August 2007 By Angus Muller

The Nigerian defender has a groin problem, but will travel with the party for a late decision to be made.

Everton are still without long-term injured pair Tim Cahill and James Vaughan, but full-back Leighton Baines is back in training after a hamstring problem. He will not be involved at Reading but is expected to be part of the travelling party.

Michael Duberry and Kalifa Cisse are the latest players to become unavailable for Reading.

Defender Duberry suffered a groin injury in Wednesday night's 2-1 defeat by Chelsea which also saw Cisse sent off to earn a one-match ban.

Striker Dave Kitson is also suspended and Leroy Lita (hip), Glen Little (Achilles) and Ibrahima Sonko (knee) are all out injured. Bobby Convey is hoping for his first game since a knee operation in March but Emerse Fae will only feature if his international clearance arrives in time.
