Reading v Blackpool. Team news

Kebe was sent-off at Barnsley on Saturday after jostling with Dennis Souza but the Royals have appealed to the Football Association and will hear if they have been successful on Tuesday afternoon.

Should the FA uphold the decision to send Kebe off he will begin a three-match ban.

Midfielder Brynjar Gunnarsson came off the bench to score at Oakwell for the second away game in a row so will hope to earn a place in the starting XI while Marek Matejovsky and James Henry are also contenders to start if Kebe is ruled out.

Defender Andre Bikey will also miss out as he serves the third of a three game suspension after his recent red card at Cardiff while club captain Graeme Murty remains out with his calf problem.

Blackpool manager Simon Grayson could hand striker Daniel Nardiello a starting berth.

Nardiello has been struggling with a niggling groin injury and faces a battle to win his place back in the side following the prolific form of top scorer Ben Burgess.

However, the Seasiders boss will be reluctant to change things around too much following their 2-0 victory against Charlton last weekend, with on-loan Derby striker Liam Dickinson assured of a starting berth after scoring a brace against the Addicks.

On-loan Plymouth goalkeeper Graham Stack will have to settle for a place on the bench with Paul Rachubka set to continue between the posts.

Steve McPhee (knee), midfielder David Vaughan (calf), Jermaine Wright (Achilles) and Stephen Crainey (groin) all remained sidelined.

The match kicks off at 8pm.
