Reading will face local rivals Oxford in the Second Round of the Carling Cup. Pardew's team will travel to the Kassam Stadium on either the 22nd or 23rd of Spetember for the clash.

Extra spice will be added to the game as it is against Reading's arch-rivals and it will be the first time the Royals have played at the Kassan since it's opening in 2001.

Elsewhere, Buckinghamshire outfit Wycome Wanderers are at home to David O'Leary's Aston Villa whilst Swindon Town travel to Leeds.
