Reading close down Birmingham after Cov comeback

The Royals came back from a goal down to beat Coventry at the Madejski Stadium.

With Reading hoping to keep in touch with the top two anything other than a victory would have been a poor result. Coventry hadn't read the script and took a first half lead when Danny Fox scored in the 26th minute.

It took just 6 mins for Reading to level with Noel Hunt's deflected header. 5 mins later and Kalife Cisse finished off a fine move to make it 2 - 1.

Any doubts were extinguished in the 62 min when Noel Hunt got his 2nd goal of the game with a tap in after a defensive tangle.

So Wolves lead the Championship on 47 points, Birmingham 2nd on 41 with Reading 3rd on 37. All teams have played 20 games.

Next up Reading face Barnsley at Oakwell this Saturday.
