Reading will be out in search of three more points at the Madejski Stadium tomorrow as they play host to Millwall in a 12 noon kick off.

The Lions have had a poor start to the season and are currently languishing in sixteenth place.

Pardew admitted his side are relishing the chance to kick off at an earlier time. He told readingfc.co.uk: "I'm all for the earlier kick off. I think the players will be livelier and fresher, and it should be a real humdinger of a game."

Many fans are hoping the side can push on from their impressive tenth place and challenge for a play-off place.

Alan Pardew was pleased top see his side pick up three points at home to Bradford in midweek after slipping to a defeat at Preston last weekend.

He added: "We were really aggreived that we didn't manage to get any points at Preston, and the fans who went up there and managed to get through all the traffic in time for kick off will know that we should have got something.

"So Tuesday against Bradford was a real key game for us, because to recover from a setback like the one at Preston where you play well but don't win is difficult, and we did that, which is a sign of a gtood side."
