Reading's game against West Ham next April has been moved to a 12.30pm kick off so that it can be shown live on TV.

The already eagerly-anticipated game against the Hammers is sure to be a sell out as it will see disgraced former manager alan pardew make his return to the Madejski Stadium.

pards, 41, sensationally walked out on the club in September so that he could manage West Ham - one of the clubs First Division rivals. He shunned John Madejski, the players, the staff and the fans of Reading Football Club who had been so supportive of him for the past four years, breaching his contract.

The Mad Stad is sure to be a cauldron of fire when pardew makes his return, the reception the former fans favourite will receive is sure to rival the vilest that Royals fans reserved for another former manager, Mark McGhee.

Given that the Royals and the Hammers both look as if they could be challenging for the Play-Offs when the game comes around, the fixture could take on added importance.
