"Today it was a tight game and there was nothing between the two sides, I feel.

"We could have got a point, but on the break, they could have exposed us as we pushed forward.

"I think the best part of the game was the last 15 minutes, with both sides pushing forward.

"We will not dwell on it, but try and learn from things.

"We don't want to analyse things too much, we have got to look forward by working hard.

"We will assess this week and try and regroup for the future."

I think he (Heskey) is a good player. He played last week, but did not score and he scored today.

"But it was a team effort today. It was not a great first half as it was a bit scrappy, but when you have not got any points, you are delighted to get off the mark and I am delighted for Emile Heskey.

"We had four or five good situations to score again and we nearly paid the price near the end, but Kirky showed why he is in the England squad."

"We have got three more points than we did at this stage last season."
