Lita hits four as reserves run riot

Leroy Lita scored four times with Shane Long adding the other as the reserves enjoyed a comfortable win over Derby County.

Reserve team boss Brian McDermott told the official website.

"It was a terrific performance, especially in the second half.

"It was a tough night because it was freezing cold, the pitch was a bit bobbly and there weren't many people watching, and in situations like that it can be difficult for experienced players to get themselves up for it.

"But we've got such good professionals at our club - people like Ivar Ingimarsson and Ulises De La Cruz who have been there and done the lot but still produced the goods on a night like that."
