The police charges brought club discipline against Lita from The Royals, but Coppell is delighted that the matter is now been drawn to a conclusion.
"Obviously, I'm pleased any allegations have been dropped and he can concentrate fully now on football rather than have a cloud hanging over him," Coppell told Sky Sports News.
"We disciplined him, not because of the alleged incident, but because of where he was, when he was, after an away game.
"He'd been in trouble in Bristol before, but he lives here now, this is his home. The discipline was between us and has been sorted."
