Jamie Cureton bagged a hat-trick as the Royals romped to victory in the first of two pre-season games in Germany.

Andy Hughes scored twice whilst big striker Darius Henderson also got his name on the scoresheet in thew 6-0 victory against KSV Krumbach, a erman amateur side.

The bad news for Reading was Bas Savage who came off in the first half with an injury, there is as yet, no news as to the damage he has done.

On the positive side England Under 17 goalkeeper Jamie Young came on in the second half to make his debut for the first team.

The Royals have been in fine pre-season form - winning all six of their matches. However they will face their toughest match so far on Saturday when they play Bundesliga Division Two side SSV Reutlingen.
