Bald-headed shotstopper Hahnemann thinks he is almost back to his best after a hard week of training.

The American international missed the victory at Grimsby three weeks ago with a calf strain but returned in time for the next league game at home to Ipswich last weekend.

Despite putting in a fairly decent performance, making a couple of eye-catching blocks against the Tractor Boys. However, he feels there was room for improvement in his performance.

The 31-year-old is hoping to put in another good display at Preston this weekend.

"I'm a tiny bit sore but I feel pretty good," admitted Hahnemann. "I've done some hards training and my calf hasn't got any worse. I was wondering what would happen after last week's game but it was OK.

"I played pretty well against Ipswich, my kicking wasn't as good, but that's just one of those things.

"We've used a number of different players and not one team throughout the season. They've all done a good job, we've got some good players who aren't playing.

"As a club we've done really well since coming up, especially when comparing us to teams with bigger budgets."
