"The players use a bungee wire that helps with their resistance training, and it snapped right back onto his knee.
"It was a real stinger, it's uncomfortable but we hope he'll be alright.
"He's had stitches, which I didn't expect at first, and it's on the bend of the knee so we have to be careful."
Ulises De La Cruz is likely to step in if needed. Reading will definately be without Dave Kitson who has not recovered from his knee problem.
