Last season's top scorer Nicky Forster will miss tonights game against Sheffield Wednesday as he is still struggling with a persistant viral infection.

Fozzy was forced to sit out Saturday's league clash against Derby County, a game the Royals lost 3-0. After the game boss Alan Pardew admitted that the side had missed Forster's prescence and speed up front.

Whilst no estimations for the strikers return have been made one would expect the former England Under 21 star to play some part in Saturday's home game against Coventry.

Speaking about Forster's injury Alan Pardew told readingfc.co.uk: "I don't think Fozzy's going to play, his illness has made him lose some weight.

"It's a shame because in pre-season he was flying. We do miss him in the squad, we hope he recovers quickly."

Meanwhile, Pards dispelled doubts that midfielder Kevin Watson would have to miss the game, he added: "Kev took a knock on the ankle at Derby but he's OK."
