Nicky Forster has missed Reading's opening two games in Division One but he is ready to return to the side tomorrow having recovered from a persistent viral infection.

It is unlikely that Forster, who finished top scorer last season, will play from the start in tomorrow's game as he has lost quite a bit of weight as a result of his illness.

However, when he is fit to start again it is more that likely that he will replace fans favourite Jamie Cureton who bagged two goals against Sheffield Wednesday earlier this week.

Fozzy proudly told readingfc.co.uk: "I'm fit and I want to play, I think I'm ready for it. I've lost quite with the illness but I've been working hard with Jon Fearn (Reading physio) this week - I feel my match fitness is OK.

"Everyone wants to play in big games like tomorrow's."

The former England Under 21 international was in fine pre season form prior to his injury, scoring five times in five games.
