The experienced Duberry has played at Premeir League and Championship level with several clubs.
Taylor told the club website "I'm delighted to sign Michael. I've known him for a long time.
"He's got great leadership qualities and I wanted that within the squad."
Duberry started his career at Chelsea before moving to Leeds, Stoke and Reading. He has also had a short loan spell at Bournemouth.
