Darius is hoping that the Royals can right all of Saturday's wrongs by coming away with at least a point from high-flying Norwich tonight.

Reading put in a decidedly below par performance at Wimbledon on Saturday and lost the game 2-0, bringing to an end a run of five consecutive victories in which some sumptuous football had been played.

The burly striker, who has made something of an impact when coming off the bench this season told readingfc.co.uk: "Watching the first half from the bench on Saturday I thought we were pretty poor compared to what we have been doing.

"There was no particular reason for it, we just let ourselves down, and I'm taking nothing away from Wimbledon, they played well but we need to bounce back with a positive result. We're looking to come away (from Norwich) with at least a draw."

Commenting on his own performance Henderson added: "When I came on I thought I was second best to everything and that I let both myself and the team down. Hopefully I will be given a chance to redeem myself.

"At the moment I have got to settle for a place on the bench because of the way Nicky Forster has been playing. I can't expect to play, I have to bide my time and take my chance when given."
