Hunt scored one goal, so did his brother Noel while top scorer Kevin Doyle scored the other two in Reading's 4 - 0 thumping of the Welsh side.

"Stephen was fantastic, he has no respect for his opponents," Coppell said after the game.

"He showed that in the Premier League last season and he has continued in the same way.

"It just doesn't matter who he is up against. He plays flat out in an old fashioned way, and the fans love that.

"This was a good win for us and obviously we are very pleased with the home form at the moment. We must continue in the same way, though."

Swansea boss Roberto Martinez also commented on Hunt's performance.

"We gave the three points to Reading in the first half, and that is a shame for us.

"Stephen Hunt is Premier League quality and from our point of view that is disappointing because he made us suffer.

"We will learn a lesson from this though, because we know what we need to improve on.

"We were not happy with the way we conceded and the first half was not good.

"At half-time our players were down, but they showed a good reaction in the second half to play better."
