"Well the result was everything, maybe we did not play our best, but you have to be satisfied with three points in this league.

"We scored reasonably early on with an individual goal from Seol and from there on our mentality was to hold on maybe a bit too much.

"In the end it was a sterling defensive display with some outstanding individual performances and we managed to hold on.

"We have no expectations, we try to win the next game and see where we end up."

On Alan Pardew Coppell said

"He does not want sympathy and no manager wants sympathy.

"He is a good manager. He has a good set-up, terrific players and he will sort it out."

"Well my assessment is that in terms of application I can't fault the players, they deserved something with the chances we had.

"We dominated most of the game, but unfortunately we can't buy a goal at the minute even with all the strike power we have and we lack a little bit of luck.

"We lacked a bit of rhythm as the back four had to be changed again and we need to sort that soon.

"It was a great reaction from their goals, we turned up the heat and powered at them, but we just didn't have that little bit of quality for us to score."

"To go four games without a win you would expect the crowd to be against you, but they were brilliant and I would like to thank them for that.

"I am not too worried, we have a great squad here. Results will improve and we will climb up the table, I am sure we will turn things round."
