Coppell looking for first away points. Match preview

Today's visit to Bramall Lane offers a chance to pick up the first away points of the campaign.

"A team always sees itself as belonging in a division if it can win away from home." said Steve Coppell.

"It is something we did fairly regularly last year and would be nice to open our account this year as soon as possible.

Midfielder James Harper says

"Last season we only lost one away, at Luton Town, so there is not a hoodoo about away games. We have only had two and the pressure is a bit more off when you play away.

"You have not got 25,000 fans screaming at you and the momentum is with the other team. It is a different sort of pressure but not a problem for us."

Following team news from Sporting Life.

French striker Christian Nade could be in line for his first start for Sheffield United as they host fellow promoted side Reading.

Danny Webber's groin injury sustained in last weekend's 0-0 draw with Blackburn allowed the 21-year-old to play 73 minutes - his longest spell of his three matches since signing from Troyes in June.

Manager Neil Warnock may decide to adopt a more positive approach against last season's Championship winners as he looks for a first win of the season and Nade could benefit.

Midfielder Michael Tonge will be given until the morning of the match to prove his fitness after sustaining a twisted ankle in training, while Claude Davis (knee), Craig Short (thigh) and Leigh Bromby (hamstring) are unlikely to make the starting line-up.

Reading centre-back Ivar Ingimarsson has been cleared to play after suffering a head injury while scoring Monday night's winner against Manchester City.

The Iceland international, who clashed heads with City's Sylvain Distin, suffered blurred vision but was not concussed.

Striker Dave Kitson (knee) and defenders Sam Sodje (knee) and Aaron Brown (ankle) remain sidelined, however.
