Coppell Delighted With Victory

Coppells team selection for the game at The Withdean paid huge dividends as striker Dave Kitson, restored to the side at the expense of Kevin Doyle, bagged his first goal of the campaign.

"It was a hard decision for me to bring David back into the team because I thought Kevin Doyle did very well against Plymouth on Saturday," Coppell said after the 2-0 victory.

"But Dave is a physical presence and he is a goal scorer. It was a real forward's goal.

"We tried to tighten up and we scored at opportune moments.

"I am delighted with our victory."
