Reading played a behind closed doors friendly on Wednesday with Bobby Convey scoring the only goal on 25 mins from a free kick.

Marcus Hahnemann played 90 mins and there were starts for Kalifa Cisse and Emerse Fae. Shane Long and Simon Cox played up front in a game that Reading should have won more comfortably.
