Brighton Game On Sky

Reading's game with the 'old enemies', in the form of Brighton & Hove Albion, has been moved from Saturday 5th April to Firday 4th, kick off 8pm, so that it can be televised live on Sky.

The match is sure to be an enthralling encounter - the Seagulls, managed by Steve Coppell, a good friend of Alan Pardew's, will be desperate for the points in a bid to escape the relegation doldrums.

Reading, equipped with former Seagulls loan star Steven Sidwell, will be looking to bolster their promotion aspirations with another victory.

The Brighton game will be by no means the first Royals game this season to receive Sky coverage. Reading have already been live on Rupert Murdoch's TV network twice this season, for their games against Sheffield Wednesday and Gillingham.

In addition, the upcoming games at Norwich and at home to Nottingham Forest will also receive the Sky tratement. This is mightily healthy news for the club who receive £60,000 every time they are shown live on TV.
