Another home failure as Cardiff take the points

Not even Adam Federici could rescue us this time against the Welsh side but he gave it a good go with a stunning last minute overhead kick. This time though the Cardiff keeper saved it unlike Federici's heroics at Christmas when he scored against City to earn the Royals a point.

What is happening at the MadStad?

Reading created several decent chances but a combination of a good Cardiff keeper, Scotland's David Marshall, and poor finishing saw Reading draw a blank again.

Chris Burke scored the games only goal. A Peter Whittingham cross found him unmarked and he had time to control and then fire into the roof of the net. Burke nearly made it two but failed to control when a goal looked a certainty.

Cardiff played the last 15 mins + stoppage time with 10 men and we could score against them. Steve McPhail shown a straight red card.

Hopefully on Saturday, away from home we can get a win and build some confidence. Peterborough will be no pushovers though.
