The Royals have a fantastic home record against the Millers, having won ten of sixteen encounters between the sides in Reading. The South Yorkshire side have won in Reading just once, and that was way back in May 1977.

Overall, the two sides have met thirty-two times in their respective histories. Reading have triumphed on fourteen occasions, Rotherham have won seven times whilst the remaining eleven games ended all square.
