One Loss Isn't the End…

Reading the papers and listening to the news you’d have thought we’d capitulated like so often has been the case in the past few years. Is it just me who sees the defeat at Luton as a blessing in disguise? The pressure on the players to carry on the potential ‘record-breaking’ run was undoubtedly resulting in players looking at best, a bit nervous. Just look at the way they responded at Luton after being 3-1 down, back was that sense of desire that has got us to this position. The free flowing football, the confidence and authority. If we can begin games with that then expect no more losses until the end of the season.

Just remember that unlike in the past we now have the experience of defeat. It may have been 33 games ago but after last season especially we’ve learned lessons. So as we take on Preston on Saturday leave the nerves at home. The team need us more than ever; winnings like a habit but as we so well know so is losing. If we get behind the team we will undoubtedly gain another three points and in turn secure promotion. I just hope the few fans that have all year been talking about not if but when the collapse will show some optimism. As my famous last words, there will be no collapse.
