Pride Park
Pride Park, home of Derby County

For those travelling by car:-

Get on the M40 and travel until you reach junction 10, Bicester. The junction is signposted Northampton.

Take the third exit at the Roundabout - onto the A43.

Keep going until you reach the junction with the M1 - this is approximately twenty miles from the M40. Take the M1 up North.

Leave the M1 at junction 25. Take the first left signposted Derby (A52). Stay on this road for five miles, following sign posts for the city centre. Look out for signs for the Travel Inn on your left and a signpost for the Pride Park Stadium.

Take the next left into the Wyvern shopping centre and continue to the next traffic island. Take first exit over Bridge into Pride Park. The stadium is on the left.

The 145 mile journey should take between two-and-a-half and three hours.

The official away parking is signposted. Unfortunately parking at the stadium is limited. Many Park and Ride Schemes are in operation locally.

For those travelling by train:-

When travelling by train in most cases it is necessary to change at Birmingham. However, Reading MAD recommend the 10:55 which goes DIRECT to Derby station, scheduled arrival time is 13:24, giving you plenty of time to find the stadium which is just a short walk away.

When returning it will be necessary to change the 5.45pm from Derby looksw one of the better bets, although you will have to be on your toes at the final whistle. From here get a train into Birmingham, arriving at 6.34pm.

This will give you plenty of time to make the 7.06pm train to Reading, you should arrive back at Reading Station at 8.56pm.

Alternatively, if you are slow to exit the ground, you could get the 6.19pm train from Derby to Birmingham. Arriving at Birmingham New Street at 712pm from here you will need to get a connection to Reading leaving at 7.32pm.

You should arrive back in Reading at 9.22pm.

All train times and services are subject to change, it is worth checking the times of your trains with the rail network BEFORE you travel.
