Reading travel to Smellhurst Park on Saturday
In excess of one and a half thousand Reading fans will be cheering on their team on Saturday at Smellhurst Park when the Royals take on Wimbledon.

The Dons gave Reading an allocation of just 1,000 tickets which were snapped up last weekend by fans eager to see their side in action in South London. Charles Koppel's club gave the Royals a further 500 but these have since been snapped up.

The Dons have now agreed to sell a further 1,500 to Reading fans on the day of the game. These are situated in the Arthur Waite Stand on Park Road. The club will accept cash only.

Tickets will cost £20 for adults and £12 for under 16s and over 65s.

At the start of the season thousands of disillusioned Wimbledon fans deserted their club, angry at the decision to move to Milton Keynes. Many of these former supporters are now supporting the newly-formed AFC Wimbledon who strut their stuff in the Combined Counties league.

A tiny Wimbledon following is expected, perhaps less than a thousand, many of whom will have been bused in from Milton Keynes. The Royals will have greater support, making it effectively a Reading home game.

Fans travelling to Saturday's game are advised to leave extra time to complete their journey due to roadworks in the local area.
