Season ticket holders will be able to purchase their tickets for the FA Cup third round tie away at lowly Walsall from Saturday, a maximum of two per season ticket will be permitted.

The Royals have received an allocation of 2,400 for the match which will kick off at 3pm on Saturday 4th January.

Reading will be hoping to go on a bit of a run in the competition this year after enduring a dismal run of results in recent years.

A win against the Saddlers, a side they beat 2-0 back in August, will provide much needed finance and the chance to possibly draw one of the top Premiership sides.

Season ticket holders can buy from after the final whistle of Saturday's game before STAR members have the chance to get hold of theirs from Wednesday 18th December.

What is left of the allocation will go on general sale on Friday 20th December.

Tickets will be priced at the reduced rate of £13 for adults, £9 for children and £10 for a disabled ticket.

Meanwhile, the club have announced some festive celebrations for Saturday's home game against Sheffield United, the last one before Christmas. There will be free face-painting outside the megastore and the East Stand.

In addition, blue wigs will be on sale, there will be a chance for kids to win a PC for their school and there will be a collection for the Daisy's Dream Charity.
