AFC Bournemouth V Reading - Ticket Info

Last updated : 12 July 2003 By Rob Cooper
Alan Pardew will take his side to Dean Court for the first time since it has been redeveloped on Tuesday 29th July, kick off 7.45pm, just eleven days before the start to the new campaign.

The newly-built stadia will appear alien to Reading fans. Containing just three sides the new 'Fitness First Stadium' (Dean Court) holds just 9,600 football followers, although the club are only permitted to play host to a maximum of 8,200 people at present due to safety regulations.

Pards will likely take the game very seriously with the new season so imminent, expect a relatively large pre-season turnout from Reading fans.

Those who wish to attend the games have two options for buying tickets; turning up on the night and purchasing then, or by phoning AFC Bournemouth on 0845 011 23 22. Tickets will cost £10 for adults and £5 for senior citizens, students and kids.

Royals supporters will be housed for the game in the East Stand, approximately 1500 tickets will be available. This stand is shared with Cherries supporters. Usually for pre-season games there is no need for segregation, but given the fiery past that exists between the two clubs expect a large police operation.
